Legacies & gifts in memory
How do I leave a gift to HRI in my Will?
To draw up a will, it’s advisable to contact a solicitor. Do ensure that you prioritise relatives, friends and loved ones so they are supported, before including organisations or charities in your Will.
If you decide to leave a gift to HRI, all you need to do is use our registered charity name and registered address to ensure the gift reaches us:
Homeopathy Research Institute
142 Cromwell Road
Kensington, London
SW7 4EF
UK
Registered charity number: 1132901
The type of gift to leave
There are two main ways of leaving a gift. A pecuniary legacy is a fixed amount of money, whilst a residuary legacy is a percentage or share of the balance of your estate once all other payments and gifts have been made.
Whichever option is best for you, any amount you leave us will make a huge difference to our work and supporting the future of homeopathy and research in homeopathy.
If you’ve already decided to remember us
Thank you! If you are comfortable doing so, please make us aware so we can thank you properly and discuss your gift with you and your vision for HRI.
Leaving a gift to the HRI in your will enables you to continue supporting us in our work over the long term. Legacies also avoid inheritance tax – please see the HMRC website for more information.
Donations in memory
People often request that mourners make a donation to charity, rather than sending flowers. If you would like to make a gift in memory of a friend or relative, please contact us and we will be able to provide you with both the appropriate Gift Aid form and discuss how you would like the gift to be put to use by HRI.
